I finally got around to putting together a new sketchbook for myself! The cover is linen primed with gesso and then drawn on with paint sharpies and the inside is filled with watercolour, bond, bristol, canvas and ledger papers that was stitched together by hand with waxed thread (okay it's actually mint scented dental floss, but it does the job!) and then pva glue was used to cover the spine of the paper block with kraft paper and Super 77 spray glue was used to attach the end papers and the cover together. And the back cover is also drawn on in the same patterns
hahah thanks! I made another one last week and it was a disaster and totally sucked so I gave it away to my friend who happily accepted it. But it made me so angry to look at!
Yeah! Sharpies that have paint in them! I hardly ever use them, but this was a good thing to finally break them out for!
